Cameron Norrie earned the most important win of his career by rallying from a set down to overcome top-ranked player Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the early stage of the Paris Masters.

The British player, seeded 31st globally, also stopped Alcaraz's impressive sequence of nine consecutive finals and 17 straight elite tournament successes, which marked the top run of results in the young champion's young career.
