In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "A mysterious encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden cult.
The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
